It's our 24th birthday!
Dear Aetolians,
October marks the TWENTY-FOURTH anniversary of Aetolia! And it wouldn't be an Aetolian birthday without plenty of celebrations to mark it. We have lots of games running throughout the month, with thousands of credit prizes up for grabs. Here's a rundown of everything that's happening for our birthday this month, as well as some other recent updates:
Birthday Celebration Games
Like previous celebrations, there is a point system alongside the credit prizes for ranking wherein you'll receive credits for reaching certain thresholds of points. Here's the full schedule of events:

Birthday Giftboxes - A Brand New Promotion!
As part of our 24th birthday celebrations this month, we're introducing Birthday Giftboxes! Available through direct purchase, or as a bonus on every 25 credits purchased, each giftbox contains a curated selection of prizes including credits, iron coins, new minipets and steed whistles, style scrolls, compendium pages, and coffers containing pantheon relic pieces!
Celebrate with friends! Every time 10 giftboxes are opened in the same room, the 10th giftbox triggers a special bonus where up to 10 people present each receive a bonus giftbox!
Daily Login Bonuses
All the daily login bonuses will be in effect throughout all weekdays in October for our birthday:
- Mondays: Double milestones!
- Tuesdays: Denizens respawn twice as fast after being slain!
- Wednesdays: Double XP!
- Thursdays: Increased critical hits!
- Fridays: Favours for everyone!
New Character Bonus
Any new character created during October is eligible for an extra 100 bound credits for reaching level 100.
- You'll receive 25 extra credits at level 80, and remaining 75 at level 100.
- You must reach level 100 before the end of the month to be eligible.
The Birthday Shop Returns!
The anniversary shop at the Harpy's Head Tavern will open on Monday the 7th of October! You'll find both old and new stock there to browse and purchase throughout the month.
You can look forward to new contents such as a brand new figurine set to collect, new minipets, new mounts, various toys and games, and more!
The Auditory Emporium Opens!
A new shop has opened within Esterport selling voxes from past promotions for a new currency called vox dust! You can procure vox dust by trading in vox iterators - you'll receive 3 credits as before, and now you also get 1 vox dust. The shop also features new, simpler voxes that describe different sounds of voices without the usual magical inflections.
Additionally, there's a new level two artifact power for vocal_fob for 30 iron coins, allowing you to use the expressiveness commands when communicating telepathically with every vox currently available!
Classleads October 2025
The final classlead of the year is here! Submissions will be open for two weeks in which you can submit three reports for consideration. Once this time frame is up, there will be two days to vote before we start posting decisions. All classes are open to classleads, no restrictions!
There is bound to be a few other surprise events happening through the month too. Don't forget to type in the CELEBRATE command anytime throughout this month to receive a one-time celebration gift of 24 bound credits!
