It's our 23rd birthday
Dear Aetolians,
October marks the TWENTY-THIRD anniversary of Aetolia! And it wouldn't be an Aetolian birthday without plenty of celebrations to mark it. We have lots of games running throughout the month, with thousands of credit prizes up for grabs. Here's a rundown of everything that's happening:
- A daily quest is available each day in October. Complete 23 days and receive a special reward! If you're starting late, no worries, you can catch-up missed days!
- The anniversary shop at the Harpy's Head Tavern is once again open for business. You'll find both old and new stock there, including new mounts, new minipets, a new figurine set, and a new 'celebratory' style scroll!
- All the daily login bonuses are in effect throughout all weekdays in October:
- Mondays: Double milestones!
- Tuesdays: Denizens respawn twice as fast after being slain!
- Wednesdays: Double XP!
- Thursdays: Increased critical hits!
- Fridays: Favours for everyone!
- New Character Bonus
- Any new character created during October is eligible for an extra 100 bound credits for reaching level 100.
- You'll receive 25 extra credits at level 80, and remaining 75 at level 100.
- You must reach level 100 before the end of the month to be eligible.
- Type in the CELEBRATE command anytime throughout this month to receive a one-time celebration gift of 23 bound credits!

Additionally, throughout the month of October, we're running a salvage sale, a lesson sale and the artifact cart which lets you purchase artifacts direct from the website at massively discounted prices!
We also recently teased a couple of new future releases: a new class, and the Persuasion skill. The new class is currently in early testing at the moment, and will be a neutral-aligned caster. We're not quite ready to share anymore details than that just yet, but expect more teasers in the future! Meanwhile, the upcoming Persuasion skill is a new way of engaging denizens in battling, but through use of your wit instead of your sword!
There is bound to be a few other surprise events happening through the month too. We hope to see you in the game to join us in the celebration games!
